You can use one of our built-in patterns to fill text, borders, monograms and backgrounds. The drop down color and pattern menu from the Fill Color and Background Color buttons in the Text toolbar offers all the choices of the Color menu as well as additional choices for choosing and creating patterns.

If you select Choose / Adjust pattern, you can choose from one of the built-in patterns and scale, rotate or recolor the pattern. A preview of the item you are filling with the pattern appears at the right of the Choose Pattern window.
