You can quicky and easily adjust the horizontal and vertical spacing of your text using the Line Spacing toolbar. The tool selected will only apply to selected text. If you are working in the main text area of your stationery, highlight the text you want to change. If you select a text box, the tool will apply to all the text in the text box. To modify only part of the text in a text box, double-click the text box and select just the text you want to change. If you leave your cursor on a line of text, the tools will affect the line of text where your cursor sits.

In the example below, we increased the character spacing and the line spacing for a more elegant look. You can always reset the line and character spacing if you don't like the way it looks.

Note: The light gray rectangle represents a margin and will not be printed.

You can also stretch text horizontally and vertically. You can use the Stretch Horizontally and Stretch Vertically buttons to gradually increase the stretch, or you can use the Vertical Stretch Justify button or the Stretch Justify button in the Text toolbar to stretch the text in the specified direction until it reaches the margins. If you use the Vertical Stretch Justify or Stretch Justify button on a text box, it will stretch the text in the specified direction to the edges of the text box. In the example below, the main text area was set to Stretch Justify and Vertical Stretch Justify to stretch the name to fill the card.
