If you add photos or images to your stationery, you can use the arsenal of powerful image effects to customize your image. Our trademark image effect, the faded border, allows you to blend the edges of the image into the background of your stationery. In the example below, we faded the border and converted the image to grayscale.

In the birth announcement example below, we recolored the same image four times for a dramatic, modern look. We used the align and distribute tools to line up the images and space them evenly, then grouped the images to center the group on the card. We combined the images with our new point-size justification text style for a bold look which makes the baby's name stand out.

The new Convert to Outlines feature in PrintingPress Pro Extreme 4.0 allows you to convert any full-color BMP, EMF, GIF, PNG, TIFF or WMF image with a black outline to a black and white outline of the image.

The Design toolbar offers you quick access to many tools, and the Extreme image manager allows you to modify more than one effect at once. The Select Objects marquis selection toolbar button makes it easy to drag-select multiple floating objects.

You can use one of the toolbar buttons or just double-click on the image to modify it. Double-clicking on an image makes the Edit Image window appear, allowing quick and easy access to all the image effects. You can resize, rotate, crop, even move floating images all from the controls on the Size tab. Click on the Adjust tab to adjust the brightness, opacity or saturation, to recolor the image, to blur the image, to convert to grayscale, to convert to outlines or to make all the white in the image transparent. Click on the Border tab to add a border to your image.
