 Trick
and Treat
If
you’re lucky, you might just end up with Mountaincow’s new
Modern line of stationery in your loot bag this Halloween. We’ve
paired rich brown and red envelopes with lavender, green, orange and blue
– just in time for your fall parties. Throwing
a spookfest? Use PrintingPress 2.0 to print our arachnid design on our
new Pumpkin stationery
(orange cards with brown envelopes). We used our Colin font from Fonts
& Graphics Collection 2, for a crooked, scratchy style. We then
made goody bag tags using the place card feature so each kid goes home
with a bag (or a belly) full of candy.
If you look
very closely, you’ll see this Platinum invitation in the brand new
issue of Family Circle! We folded
a 5.5" x 8.5" piece of white card stock twice to fit in an A2 envelope.
Folded, the card reads “Trick or Treat”. Pull the card to
open it and all the party details are inside. We added an orange background
and off-white text in Colin. Using the
place card function, we made a coordinating goody bag tag and added an
age old plea for treat. Want to keep your guests’ bug juice straight?
Make another set of place cards and use a hole punch to make room for
a straw.

Present
perfect
You’re
walking out the door to a party when you realize you don’t have
an enclosure card for your gift. To avoid thank you note glitches, or
to explain why you chose that particular bottle of wine, create a supply
of gift cards with PrintingPress. To
get ready for the fall holiday season, we used our new
Modern line of stationery for both projects. Both projects also use
a folded note which measures 5.5" x 8" before it is folded. For
a simple, autumn-themed note, add a silhouette of a maple leaf and your
name underneath. Use our new Pistachio stationery – pairing gorgeous
green paper with rich brown envelopes – and you’ll always
get credit for your thoughtful gifts. Platinum
users can print a border of leaves in fall hues on our Cranberry stationery
– red paper with intensely red envelopes – and print a name
in the middle. |

 Hop
to it!
The
thing about birthdays… they come every year! Before you know it,
it’s time to plan another one. Here’s a cute, but most of
all, easy project for you to make your own. And don't worry; it's easy
to customize. If your little one hates frogs, replace our apmhibian with
your child's favorite animal or cartoon character. Copy, paste and voila!
Instant invitation. Print our
cute little frog design on white 6.25" x 4.5" cards and pair
them with A6 dusty blue envelopes. Order them in sets of 25 in our bulk
stationery section. Take care of the matching thank you notes while
you are at it by ordering white 5.5" x 8.5" folded notes with
blue A2 envelopes. Print our cute frog again with the words “Thank
you”. Platinum
users, add a blue and green border around the edge of the invitation and
thank you note for added style. Love this border? You can have a bunch
more like them from Fonts
& Graphics Collection 2.

Stick
to a schedule
Throwing
a wedding doesn’t mean just one event – it’s a weekend
full of parties. Make sure your guests don’t miss an hors d’oeuvre
by making a schedule of events with all the details in one place.
Using the
wedding colors or the same font from the invitations, make a list of
all the events, where they are happening, and who is hosting on a 4.25"
x 11" card. This way you can print two to a page. Create ribbon
hole markers at the top so you can create a loop to hang on a hotel
doorknob.
To include
more details about your wedding, create a 7" x 10" folded
card and print all the directions and shuttle information on the inside.
For the schedule, correspond a graphic to every activity. Got a golf
outing? We’ve got a tee from Fonts
and Graphics Collection 2. A brunch the next morning? Use the brunch
egg.
Use the
inner envelope function for the A7 envelope and leave the card at the
front desk of the hotel for their arrival.

How
do I move PrintingPress onto my new computer?
To
use PrintingPress on your new computer, you will need to install and
activate the software the same way you did the first time. If you plan
to continue to use your old computer, you can leave the software there
as well, because you are allowed to have the software on up to two computers
that you use personally.
To
transfer all of your projects and addresses to your new computer, copy
the entire data folder, located at My Computer\Local Disk C:\Program
Files\Mountaincow\PrintingPress\Data, to the same location on the new
computer.
If
you just want to transfer a few projects, choose Backup Project
from the File menu and save copies of your project files. For
your address book, choose Export Addresses from the Address
Book menu to save a copy of your address file. Then email or use
a removable disk to copy these files to the new computer and choose
Import Addresses and Restore Project to add them to
PrintingPress on the new computer.
